first_imgTWENTY per cent of households have delayed or missed paying bills in order to pay for basic goods and services, a CSO survey found today.One in ten households delayed or missed loan repayments and a further one in ten delayed or missed paying their credit card bill.The CSO survey found that cutbacks in Co Donegal – included in the West region statistics – were on a par with the national average. It showed that more than half of households cut spending on groceries, while half also reduced spending on going out.
